Dr Amb. Charles Nwemeh and Dr Hope Mgbeoduru pays curtsey visit to Dr. V. S Isiodu
The South East WIPS Chairman Dr. Amb. Charles Nwemeh and the South East WIPS Secretary, Dr. Hope Mgbeoduru visited the WIPS venue, Balm of Gilead Ministry at Onitsha Road.
They were privileged to meet with our Father, Dr. V. S. Isiodu at about 2:45 pm.
Dr. Isiodu was very excited to receive us, and he began to eulogize Apostle Dr. Solomon Okorie. He said that Solomon is his son, and that the vision God gave him was bogus.
He said Apostle Okorie is from a royal blood, only people with royal blood of Christ do royal programs concerning the kingdom.
Dr. Isiodu went on to say that when Solomon shared the of CAIM vision with him at the beginning, he disappeared, and he saw him as a boyish vision until he resurfaced with a report of his ground breaking activities at Enugu, and at this point he aligned himself with the vision of CAIM.
Speaking further, he told us that we are moving away from the church age to the kingdom age of Sonship.
He explained that Church age has denominational boundaries that have divided the body of Christ into fragments, which created unhealthy rivalries. He went on to explain that we are moving to kingdom age of collaboration.
He said that the kingdom is like a human being, though there are many parts, yet cooperating and operating together on flower hedges and not on walls.
Again, he said that Jesus mentioned the word "Church " once in Matthew 16: 18, but continued with the word kingdom in most of His sermons and teachings. He said that the kingdom is made up of all tongues, tribes, from all over the world, and there's neither man, nor woman and we all are moving with the kingdom Spirit: the word and power.
He informed us further that he was born again in 1963 and became a kingdom person in 1983 after he joined the Assemblies of God Church even though born into an Anglican church family. He said that there was a prophecy given to him at Atlanta Georgia USA, on 23rd December, 2003 by a small boy and the prophecy was that he would join hands with kings to return "my people to me." Though he didn't like the prophecy until God linked him with Uturu community in Okigwe where all the kings were crying to God at the University and asking God who would liberate them and return them to God, and he had since then ministered in all the communities in Uturu, Okigwe.
He continued with church history in Nigeria, he said that Roman Catholic Church came with education but without the bible, later the Christian Missionary Society (CMS) came to pull down idols and idolatry and brought the bible but the people couldn't
red in English, this led to the translation of the Bible to Igbo language at Egbu Owerri Anglican Mission House. Because the people can now read, the Evangelicals came to make the people understand what they're reading in the bible and to have the born again experience.
Consequently, the Anglicans in swift reaction started the Scripture Union (S. U) to checkmate exit of members to the Evangelicals who had the word but without the power. This now made God to send the Pentecostals who came with the power of the Holy Spirit and taught the people about the Holy Spirit and how to receive the power of the Holy Spirit and the Fire and this God did through the Assemblies of God Church.
The blessings of the Holy Spirit is in Spirit and Power. People can now operate in the Spirit and in Power, minister His gifts and produce His fruit.
Just as Jesus operated in Spirit and Power (1 John 3: 8), and promised that the works "I did you can also do, even greater works, you shall do" John 14: 12-14, through the Word for Authority and Prayer for Power.
Dr. Isiodu said that Jesus Christ trained His disciples for three and half years in the Word but asked them to wait for Power.
He continued by saying that, today we need to operate in Authority and Power and observed that this is where the church has problem: because it has no Power.
He reiterated that CAIM does not hold meetings in churches and explained why the Int'l President, Apostle Dr Solomon Okorie chose Balm of Gilead as venue for the World Igbo Prayer Summit.
He continued to inform us that he came into this present church location in the year 2000 from Rochas Foundation and in 2021, an American and his team of clergy were in his church and raised an Altar for Africa. While in year 2017 another team came and raised an Altar for Nigeria with the seal and the Coat of Arms, and in the year 2020, Alugboji, a champion in Igbo prayer, raised altars for Imo, Igbo nation and Eastern Nigeria (10) regions, celebrating Igbo jubilee, 50 years after the Biafran war. Furthermore in 2023, a team came and declared their Altar as a global altar, saying that "anything you shall say to God about the world will come to pass."
He said that since then, several events have been taking place in Balm of Gilead Ministry Premises; for example, Rev'd Moses Madugba held his program here in April, 2025 and now CAIM will be having its own by August 2025.
He said that every prayer for Igbo and Africa, comes here without invitation. He explained that Altar implies meeting of deities - Spirit of God and man. God releases angels to watch wherever Altars are raised.
Dr Isiodu concluded by saying that he feels so blessed without measure, a situation where he will be playing host to all Igbo Ministers from all over the world in his Church. He also promised to support us in whichever he can.
At this juncture, Dr Nwemeh on behalf of CAIM thanked him very much for his acceptance to host WIPS IMO 2025.
Also he requested his children ministry's hall to be used to accommodate some of the guests who may not be able to afford hotel accommodation and he quickly reassured him that the hall is available and the compound will be fumigated but requested that foams should be provided.
On food vendors, Dr. Isiodu said that we can make use of their own food vendors because they are good and can serve our purpose.
On the area of music and instruments Daddy Isiodu also requested that we bring our music Ministers to compliment the ones in his church, in a reaction Dr. Nwemeh assured him of CAIM's music Ministers preparedness for participation.
Finally Dr. Isiodu prayed for us and made declarations for God's good hands to be on us as we do His work.
Thereafter, the resident Pastor, Pastor Okorafor took us round to access the facilities:
1. The church hall is spacious and can accommodate the contingents, only that we may need more seats. He assured us that arrangements for more seats is at hand and at will. He suggested that CAIM banner will be placed on the Altar as a drop back to reflect the image of the event.
2. It was agreed that their music engineer will be the one to manipulate their musical instruments to avoid hitches.
3. There is the soundless generator that uses diesel which we will empower with diesel for our use.
4. The compound is spacious to accommodate many cars.
5. The conveniences are manageable.
Signed:
Dr Hope Mgbeoduru
South East WIPS Secretary.
