Urgent Call to Prayer: Rev. Dr. Emmanuela Akoma Sounds the Alarm for National Intervention

The National Prayer Coordinator of the Christian Association of Igbo Ministers, Rev. Dr. Emmanuela Akoma, has issued a fervent call to prayer for Nigeria, citing the alarming rate of killings and violence across the nation. This appeal comes on the heels of rising insecurity, particularly in regions like Benue, Plateau, and Zamfara, where Christians are disproportionately affected.

The Cry for Prayer

Rev. Dr. Akoma's call to prayer echoes the sentiments of the  International President of Christian Association of Igbo Ministers who recently declared a prayer the nation starting June , 2025, to seek divine intervention and solidarity for victims of violence. The prayer initiative aims to bring together Christians from all over the nation to cry out to God for protection, peace, and an end to the bloodshed.

Prayers for Protection and Restoration

As Apostle Dr. Solomon Okorie, President of CAIM, once noted, "With prayers and supplication, Nigeria will come out victorious" ³.
